Divisions:
- $25 Competitive Singles (Sun:11:30am)
- $10 Social Singles (Sunday, 12 noon)
- $30 Competitive Doubles Team (Sat: 11 am)
- $30 per person for TEAM Cornhole ($210 per 7 man TEAM Cornhole)
*This is a sanctioned ACO event, No PRO points will be earned in this tourney. If You play in the Competitive Singles & Doubles events THIS weekend, your 2012 ACO Membership will cost just $10! (a $20 value---SAVE $10!)
Anyone who plays in the Competitive Singles Event on Sunday will receive a FREE 2012 SCR score!
Beach Cornhole Welcomes ALL area cornhole players to participate in the 3rd Annual Hampton Roads Sportsfest at the Hampton Convention Center the weekend of February 17 – 19, 2012.
Whether you play in our * 7- Man TEAM cornhole divison , Social Doubles /Singles Divion,or Competitive Doubles or Singles, you’ll enjoy the game and the people you meet. Anyone who signs up for an event gains entry to the Sports Festival for all 3 days! You’ll be able to catch some Cage Fighting, Boxing, Gymnastics and Cross Fit competitions while you’re there.
Competitive Doubles and Competitive Singles will be a 70% payout of your entry fees. Both tourneys will be a double elimination tourney with opportunities for players with one loss to play back to face the top bracket winner for the championship. The top 3 placewinners will receive a cash payout.
Social Players winners will receive their money back and some social prizes. This is another double elimination tourney as described above.
No 2 players from the competitive division will be able to play with same or other competitive partners for social division. Co-ed teams are encouraged in order to bring more female players into the mix. We are here to PLAY and HAVE FUN on Saturday night! We will include a FREE social Draw , single elimination tourney, time permitting.
Lots of cornhole games and challenges will be added during the day as time permits.
7-Man Team format: Play for points in each category:
- 1 Singles Air Mail GAME –best 2 of 3 format ---Draw for 2 opponent
- 2 doubles Teams – Draw 3 opponents each
- 2 Singles Teams - Draw 3 opponents each
- All 7 players participate in 3 bag long throw....top 3 overall distances score
- $210 Team fee includes open” luck of the draw” Fri night ….$20 person without a team
